Well, my trip to Colombia is getting closer and closer, luggage is almost ready, the thousand presents for the family and friends are almost bought, the camera's battery is recharged and the memory cards are empty and ready for new images, the credit cards are itching to get out and test new restaurants in Colombia. Now the question is: Should I chance it and fly with only my U.S. passport and NOT renew my Colombian passport and listen to the lecture of the DAS at the airport and renew it in Bogota? Or have things changed so much that they are enforcing the Referendum where it says if you are Colombian-born, you HAVE to come into the country with a valid Colombian passport regardless of whether you are a naturalized citizen or not? Any recent experiences, anybody?
