Lucia: You seem to know quite a lot about bilingual schools in Bogota. Could you give me your input on Gimnasio del Norte and perhaps The Abraham Lincoln schools? I need one that is truly bilingual since my son doesn't speak or write any Spanish.
Thank you Lucia,

IMorcombe says on May 25, 2006, 06:14: Thank you For your replies. Yes, Gimnasio del Norte has the IB program, also the International School but they haven't replied to any of my emails so I guess I will give my business to Gimnasio del Norte. The English School appears to be very very good but they already told me they don't have "cupo" for anyone else for the coming school year and the colegio Gran Bretana, which I visited last year in September, is just too damn expensive...They did away with the "bono" which was almost US$6,000 but the pensiones are up and up..I am not quite willing to pay nearly US$800 monthly...now US$450 is more up my alley. Lucia Rojas says on May 25, 2006, 15:40: My cousin's son goes to Gimnasio del Norte and he is a very happy child... and since they have the IB then that means it has high standards; for a school has to complete all the requirements to get accredited and they get checked on every few years...
