you should have seen everyone trying to get back into the boats with no dock and the waves lifting the boats up and down...i was laughing so hard i pissed myself.....one woman around 65 got one foot up and in and was hanging over the edge as the boat slammed up and down...when she fell off everyone jumped into the water to help her...she was alright.

Well I don´t go there as I said I don´t know where is it... but looks dangerous. It looks like a place that used to be el Cartucho about 8 years ago, I remember that when trasmilenio just started a long story, but never stopped ther, so dangerous for anyone... There was a story about guy called the Angel of El Cartucho and he used to help all those homeless drug addicts to recover.. but when Peñalosa changed el Cartucho building like a Plaza call it I think Tercer Milenio all the bad homeless moved to different places in Bogotá a long time ago

Yes doc is a huge difference but anyway, some places are still dangerous. I´m sorry for the homeless people but they are like a ghetto.
I remember whe I was young ( I mean a couple of years ago jejeje) We use to work with the government giving the Social Security (SISBEN) to these people, well we were expecting about 5.000 and no more than 500 of them went to ask for the service... they are lost in drugs, sicariato, and other crazy activities that make them lost the interest in life. Is like they don´t want to be better sometimes, the work is hard with that people. But some of them are funny and nice...

Sorry to hear of those people. I had a family member that kept falling down more than he recovered... I'm not sure if he's doing any better. the last I heard is that he's got cancer and a little over a year ago, he was told he had 6months left. So far, he's still around. People just need to wake up before it's too late. You can only help so much, they still have to accept it.

I liked Bogota! It was much warmer and much less gloomy weatherwise than the winters of the midwestern region where I live! I love beaches/coastal areas, but not the sunburn I get if I spend too much time outside in the middle of the day.
