I will be making my first trip to Columbia in the middle of July. Does anybody have any tips or advise for visiting the city of Pereira? Also any advise on renting a car? Many thanks!

cali373 says on Jun 22, 2007, 10:47: It's a small city with vry nice people. The paisas there are very nice. prices are cheaper than the big cities. when venturing to the surrounding countryside ask about the security situation. The termales are close by (hot springs), great place to visit. The zona rosa section is called la badia or something that sounds like that. In the city centro, where most of the commerce is, you can just walk around and get everywhere. EL MELIA is the best hotel there, I don't know anything about it, just that it is in el centro. Smile if you are a thinker! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
