Well I finally stumbled onto it, still don't know what it is called but with a map all is easy.
For those of you living in or visiting Bogota who want an experience a slightly more old-fashioned country-Colombian experience for a meal I reccomend the place that is directly across the road from Kurnik, see the mapa .
You go up out of the city through an area with lots of little roadside snack stops, through a toll booth, along a beautiful rural vista to the east, and then down a hill towards the river Teuscama. As you approach the bridge look on the right side of the road, immediately across the bridge there is a restaurant there(as well as the left which the one with the map). The one on the right has great decor with an old time tipico casa campestre/finca feel, surrounded by tons and tons and tons of flowers.
It is multi-level with thatched-covered outdoor eating patios accessible via a stone stairway through some small gardens. If that's "too cold" the main dining room is enclosed and overlooks the river. Very pretty. Good menu with traditional dishes plus has a buffet with good salad options). Feels *very* out of the city.
If you go, please get the name of it for me!

'what does it mean, when one of you (colombians) tell another: YOU WERE NOT/ARE NOT. 'COLOMBIAN ENOUGH'?? jejeje..a mixture, I think, of stupidity mixed with a false sense of arrogance.. How 'colombian' do you have to be? to be 'colombian enough 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
