Well I finally stumbled onto it, still don't know what it is called but with a map all is easy. For those of you living in or visiting Bogota who want an experience a slightly more old-fashioned country experience for a meal I reccomend the place that is directly across the road from Kurnik mapa.
You go up out of the city through an area with lots of little roadside snack stop, past a toll booth, along a beautiful vista to the east, and then down a hill towards the river Teuscama. As you approach the bridge look on the right side of the road, immediately across the bridge there is a restaurant there(as well as the left which the one with the map). The one on the right has great decor with an old time tipico casa campestre/finca feel, surrounded by tons and tons and tons of flowers. Multi-level eating with covered outdoor eating patios accessible via a stone stairway through some small gardens. Very pretty. Good menu.
If you go, please get the name of it for me!
