Timeline for K1 Visa

Can anyone provide some info on the timeline for a K1 Visa? I sent the initial forms and paperwork to the Texas Service Center and it was received two months ago. I have read that it can take an average of ninety eight days for them to send the second notice with a decision. Is that about average and from the time I get this second notice how much time passes before the actual interview in Bogota? Also, is there anything I can do to speed the time up in between?

I just finished the proccess and it took 6 months exactly from the time i sent the paperwork in until she was with me in the states. took 4 months to get the NOA2 (approval from the USA) then 2 months after that after going through NVC and such before we had our interview date.

Hey GatorGT. I am going through the exact same thing ... waiting on the K1 process to work. My 3rd attempt at the initial application was approved September 28th. Long story, but the first 2 attempts failed because of things beyond my control. I have looked at the www.visajourney.com website also, because of the reference to it in the first response in this thread.
