Can anyone provide some info on the timeline for a K1 Visa? I sent the initial forms and paperwork to the Texas Service Center and it was received two months ago. I have read that it can take an average of ninety eight days for them to send the second notice with a decision. Is that about average and from the time I get this second notice how much time passes before the actual interview in Bogota? Also, is there anything I can do to speed the time up in between?
Thanks for any help that could be given.

Robert Jorge says on Nov 10, 2006, 10:36: Hey GatorGT. I am going through the exact same thing ... waiting on the K1 process to work. My 3rd attempt at the initial application was approved September 28th. Long story, but the first 2 attempts failed because of things beyond my control. I have looked at the www.visajourney.com website also, because of the reference to it in the first response in this thread. It may just be me, but the website makes it seem even more scary and overwhelming. Good luck to you. Email me if you want to vent or share war stories.
