Miss Bogota looks awful.She is not only plain for a Colombiana, but kind of goofy looking in the face. Her body is pretty nice though.

Miss Guajira's body is kind of bottom heavy with squarish hips and she looks like she has thunder thighs in that pic.

Honestly, you see better looking women on the street in Colombia than in these pageants. This year's contestants aren't all that impressive. The pageants are and have always been bought and paid for by traquetos or oligarcas for their prepagos or their daughters.

If I had to pick, I would go with go with Srta Risaraldas

I met some old friends and we ate Indian food. Since there is no Indian restaurant in Hicksville this is a rare treat for me -- I love curry, and can cook any type of Indian food. But would not usually cook a big meal for myself. We listened to some Colombian music and I burned them a few discs. They speak no Spanish. I translated. I could tell they liked it, especially the arriero.

On the whole the Spanish influence in Canada is limited to a few cities. Thankfully, this is starting to change. Many Canadians know a few Shakira songs and Buena Vista Social Club, though.
