THINGS I LEARNED...

MEDELLIN is not cheap, it can be very expensive.
Medellin philippines is cheaper.
Enganar does not mean "to like" as we say in tagalog.
Lamiyerda does not mean "to paint the town red"
Semana Santa is celebrated similarly in the Philippines as in Colombia.
Balut is not sold in Medellin nor century eggs.
I have learned to like Arepas
I love dunkin donuts with arequipe
Aguardiente is as good as Kuatro Kantos
Bandeja Paisa is my favorite
I also like lengua & mondongo
we both like rice
Spanish is complicated,not easy
Paisas are carinosas,bonitas,selosas like Philippine women
Paisas are frank,will confront & fight if slighted.
Philippine women will cut off your manhood while asleep.
My girlfriend does not like to cook but she will when I'm there.
I have never met any Filipinos in Medellin.
Together we have travelled from mde-bog-eje cafetero-cartagena-pty-quito-isla contadora.
We both love to travel.
Isla San Andres is beautiful
5000 pesos for a comcel chip without papers.
Piropos are compliments, do not confront the thrower he may have a machete or worse
Every three months is a luna de miel between she and I.
