The Red Lion & The Pub in North Bogota does anyone know these places

meeting foreigners in BOG.. I've been to the pub on T in zona rosa. Sure there's some foreingers there, you can also try bogota beer company in zona rosa also. I've always meet foreigners in casinos, especially in nice areas like the casinos in zona rosa. But as for getting a job in bar/restaurants, like sam mention, you'll make peanuts best bet is to get an english teaching job, it's doesn't pay alot, but livable.

The Pub and red lion I have been to both, yes you can find a lot of Europeans, the atmosphere is alright. Although I would agree with Caslug, Bogota Beer company both in Zona Rosa and Parque de la 93 are fine places to visit as well. There are some nice cafes in Usaquen and you can bump into a lot of europeans on Sundays. Then you have the platypus hotel, its probably a hostel, I am not sure, in La Candelaria. I guarantee 90% of the people there are europeans, most just hang about for tea or lunch and theyre mostly Swedish or German.
