This question is for the people that are in Medellin right now. How bad is the rainy season? Doe it rain on and off every day? Does it pour down all day? I know it pretty much rains all day, but I'm trying to get a grasp of how much rain is common now. I'm going down next week and weather will be a big factor. If it pours all day, I may consider hopping on Avianca and going to the coast for some sunshine. Please advise. Thanks all!

I try to arrive back in Medellin before 1:00 PM to avoid the afternoon showers. They however last only a short time. I agree this year has been different than last year. (more showers)
