Hi all,
Colombians seem to be obsessed with the Piramida thingie..........
All over the country shady offices open, like here where I live, with blackened windows, security guards and at least 30 people outside waiting (at any time - day or night).
I know it is because they offer "70% interest" and many Colombians love easy, quick and free money (not only Colombians LOL) and they think they won't loose because they won't be the last.
My feelings are that in a few weeks/months, the office will suddenly disappear as quickly and suddenly as it appeared, leaving tons of people without their money.
What do you think about this sudden rise?

Mononoke28 says on Aug 20, 2008, 13:28: My family used to do that pirámide thing with neighbors and stuff and they always made money but mainly because it was done with people they knew and trusted. I'm not into that since you never 100% who you're dealing with. Diana 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

En los últimos meses en Colombia varios de esos negocios han desaparecido de repente dejando a una cantidad de personas con su dinero perdido y los responsables no aperecen por ningún lado. Eso ha salido en todos los noticieros y la gente sigue dando papaya!. Enseñame a enseñar. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

ColombianoGringo (Moderator) (Trustee board) says on Aug 20, 2008, 16:56: These scams go from place to place in Colombia. They will pop up in small towns every once in a while. The first people to invest always get their big payment. Then everyone else in the town wants their easy money and invests their money. At that point, the scammers skip town. It is sad that people are so stupod as to invest what little money they have in these schemes.
