There are no real islands near Nuqui a few rockpiles is all.
If it's Nuqui you're going to then you'll probably be flying down from Medellin.

Nuqui Is where I Was told to head for in Colombia , I was told great Hotels including food $60 per night and Whales / Sardine run. Excellent fishing and diving.

Is Bahia Solano close by Nuqui.?. In a manner of speaking it's close Yes the same general area but you have to decide which community you'll be visiting.
Few people stay in Bahia Solano most travel to nearby El Valle.
Fishing is in fact quite poor as Colombians have dynamited/netted most of their fish stocks.

whales or Ballenas I ear that in bahia solano, trigana sapsurro,la miel y el cielo are the most awesome placeses of the pacific soast, you can see when the babys of the whales born around july to august, check this information, but I think that is one of the most beutifull times to apreciate nature in than area. good diving!
go to el colombiano. com in the section of tourist, maybe you can find more information o request to any reporte of this news papper to find this out. they help you. or ask to the presidence of colombia in the section of english, if you dont find what you want yas send an email directly to the president, they maybe answer you in a week, but they always answer you. other agencies of travel in colombia are viajes veracruz, tierra sol aire. have an unforgotable time.
