We were the first Colombian family to arrive in NYC, mid 50’s, we settled in Manhattan
In the 70’s countless of Colombians arrived and went straight to Queens chasing the potatoes eating, drunken wife beating Irish, and Gumbas out
Many arrived as tourist, but never returned thus the reason for so many anchor babies.
