I really enjoy hearing the positive stories of being married to a colombian on this site. Sometimes the negative people bring down the mood...with my impending nuptials I would really like to hear more of the happy stories. Yes, maybe it's a little corny, but sometimes it's always good to reconnect to reality and not just those who may have been rubbed wrongly. So, please share....

utopiacowboy says on Jul 7, 2006, 22:29: I always tell people about the pleasure I've experienced with my 1960 model Colombiana Stepford Wife. Sure she's 45 years old but she's a beauty and she's low mileage with only one previous owner who did not drive her much before he died. The later models seem to have more problems so I am not sure that the workmanship is still there. If a guy can pick up one of these babies, I tell him to go for it. She drives like a dream and no, she's not for sale. kkemerait says on Jul 8, 2006, 18:27: My Wife She is the most wonderful, kind, loving, gentle, strong, fun-loving, tender, romantic, sensitive, adoring and beautiful person that I have even known. We are newlyweds, married for less than a month now, but our friendship and love is beyond words. For the cynics in the audience, yes I have been married before (for 13 years), I am 52 years old, I've seen good and bad in this world but I have never been as happy and content as I am when I am by her side holding her hand. I can only imagine the rest our lives together, but I am certain they will be filled with love, romance, wonder, tenderness and laughter.

utopiacowboy says on Jul 8, 2006, 21:45: No, Morphus, you never want one that's never been driven especially after all that time on blocks in the garage. She may not even run. I've got mine finely tuned and she purrs like a kitty on the open road. utopiacowboy says on Jul 9, 2006, 16:08: The repartee with Kat and Colombiche is just nonsense, Morphus, meant for amusement. You have to learn to separate reality from this stuff. This PBSH stuff isn't real. My Colombiana Stepford Wife, now she's realer than real. Whenever i go to medellin i fall in love, either with someone, the people, or the place. My sister is married to a Chilean. He always repeats how lucky he is to have a colombian wife. I wonder if its possible to find the "perfect" colombian husband? Pobre Pero Contenta! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

I was wondering what could be better, for me to move to Colombia, or for her to come here to Puerto Rico. I'm an engineer but I really don't know how are the job opportunities in Colombia.

costajunkie says on Jul 11, 2006, 03:51: I can't really say that being married to a Latina - any or the majority of Latinas - is a guaranteed joy. I really dislike stating that being married to a Latina (colombiana) is the surest path to marital bliss... just as I don't buy the argument that American women are bitches as is frequently portrayed. After all, my 4 sisters and my mum are Americans, and they certainly fall far short of being considered this way. When it gets down to it, people are people the world over. I have met wonderful women in the US and Europe, just as I have met the converse abroad - including Latin America.
