No thank goodness, but I did tell the wife to take our old car just in case. The rain has been heavy all day, good for the lawn bad for the roses.

I recall a bad hail storm about 12 years ago, it kept the bodyshops busy for years afterwards, I even had a pal from England come over with a special machine that removes the dents without damaging the paint. He made a fortune then buggered off back home.

Sounds like he was a good man. It's always gratifying to know that such people exist in the world. Hopefully he didn't suffer too much before he went away.

A good man. In any democracy, politicians are generally paid well for doing, if they do good they have earned their pay, if they do bad they get paid anyway. That is democracy.

The health of the democracy can only be measured by the activities of its citizens.

This man was undoubtably a good man and a good citizen to boot.

If I could be remembered by just one person, as being beneficial to my country in any one way at all, and for just one thing, I would consider myself truly honoured.

I knew the dent remover! I think I knew that guy, the dent remover I mean. When I was in Ireland many years ago I had an old banger, (I also had a car with many dents in it). The car had been purloined, and I had a call to go and identify it.

What had happened was that some kind soul had put a Mills 36 A.P. grenade in it. There were no outward signs of the dents as previously seen. The blast had brought the level of the remainder of the shell out to match the dents.

It seems to work the same as the new facial spot removal cream. Lead Oxide. It brings the rest of the face out to being level with the spots.

The wonders of modern science.
