I have been living in Colombia for almost three years and I have always been looking for books written by Colombians. Most Colombian authors do not have thier work translated to English. Recently, I found a book of short stories titled...The Flight of the Condor: Stories of Violence and War from Colombia, 184 pages. The book contains stories written by some of Colombia's best writers both past and present and translated to English.
If you are looking for a good read and you are getting tired of some crazy frog pontificating to the British about thier language errors, you might get some enjoyment reading this book.
Imagine, a Frenchman from a country with absolutley no beneficial contributions to mankind since the mid-1700's criticizing the way the British choose to use thier language.
Take a moment to get this book...you will enjoy the prose of Colombian's best.
