For colombians like me...

The absolute ideal place to be is in a coffee farm in the mountains, dancing with cousins, aunts and good friends... feasting on natilla, buñuelos and fritanga prepared by the abuela, not far from a city to stock up occasionally. This is just the way I grew up spending the holidays and can't really imagine it a better way!

For tourists and foreigners, I guess the party towns would be Cartagena for the crowds and Cali for the Feria.

El-Monotematico Elmo, man, we have different ways thinking and expressing ourselves... I kinda don't feel the need to tell everyone about all the borracheras, rumbeadas, pichadas I've had in my life... they're for my pleasure and I sure as hell don't feel any better getting other's attention for it. That's just me! You can keep on entertaining us, please do, everyone loves the class clown.

Let me see... from your posts I gather you enjoy sex, alcohol and partying. Guess what? So do I, I've had my good share of all of that and am still pretty young so I still got a lot of that ahead of me. Difference is, I can also enjoy and appreciate a lot of other things in life... you trivialize them, I wonder who's the one who's missing out on a lot in life's simpler pleasures?

I hope you'll still allow me to join your fan club oh-wisest-one...

Just when you think everything's gonna blow up... you can be very diplomatic, you know that Elmo?

BTW, if you saw what my cousins looked like you'd wanna be dancing with em on Christmas too...

Christmas in Cali, of course. There's everything that you can possibly want, except the beach, but plenty of nice pools and the Pacific coast with Juanchaco and Ladrilleros beaches just a few hours away...2 hrs to Buenaventura and 45 minutes with a lancha to Juanchaco. The feria of Cali is closely followed by the Feria de Manizales, the Feria de Los Blancos y Negros in Pasto (all with a lot of parties and dancing) and then you could catch a week or two in Cartagena or in San Andrés to round up the two-month party spree in Colombia.
Cheers,
Desi
