I think most marriages in Colombia happen after they're either already expecting a baby or have been dating for such a long time that there isn't really another choice. So the whole fairytale moment of bending on one knee and saying "will you marry me?" almost never happens. It's all more like "ok, let's do it" or "I guess we should marry...?" type of thing.
