I have just carried out some SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH to see how Colombia compares with other countries in terms of the beauty of women. Here's what I did. ColombiaCupid has sections for several countries/regions. When you select a country, you can page through pictures of girls, 20 on a page. As you page through, the girls get less attractive. This suggests that the order in which the girls are presented is in the order of popularity, therefore the most attractive work their way towards the first page. So I took each country, and wrote down how many girls per page I thought were attractive/interesting. I did this for 10 pages per country. I then listed the countries in order of results. Here's what I found:
1. China 45%
2. Vietnam 40%
3. Thailand 35%
4. Philippines 30%
5. Korea 25%
6. 7 other countries inc Brazil 20%
14. Latin America and Mexico 15%
16. Afro, Japan and, yes, finally, COLOMBIA 10%

From a scientific point of view there are 2 weaknesses in this study. One is that it is only my subjective point of view. However, any one of you can replicate my work and we can see how much difference this subjectivity makes. Secondly, the results are skewed because there must be different numbers of girls from each country on the site. I therefore propose making an adjustment by weighting the results according to each country's population. Clearly the numbers on Cupid may not exactly reflect the population, but possibly better than nothing.

I was surprised by the results. Not because I was expecting Colombia to be top. Rather I was expecting Russia there. Russia in fact came in at 20%.

I agree that Colombianas win on the level of warmth of personality, but I also believe that my study dispels a myth about their physical beauty. And it doesn't alter the fact that a few Colombianas are fabulous looking (but not on Cupid).

I think the proportion of women who are beautiful is a pretty even constant across most countries. But I also believe that in some places the women are just more feminine, have a better dress sense, are generally classier etc.- Italy and Hungary, for example.
