in an earlier post about the 'best city in colombia' or something like that, as in most posts, it strayed wide of it's theme until finally coming to rest upon the idea of a beach in medellin (now that's damn near as dreamy as pretty ladies in buenaventura) but anyway, isn't that one hell of an idea.
true, a geographic impossibility, but do we have alternatives. i thought briefly of rivers where one might wet themselves thoroughly and enjoy the water...and of course, rio medellin was definitely out, as shit is cleaner than that. then? where?
well, i mused another moment and thought of barbosa...or north of barbosa, that is. where they pan for gold. stlll not as clean as one would like. especially if you'ld like to strip down with your squeeze and really enjoy. so, for myself, i'm still a bit emptyhanded. for, as you know, colombians are horrible about keeping their rural watershed clean. piss in it, shit in it, slaughter the cows in it, through the trash in it, are the general rules.
maybe some of you others have some ideas. the confama themeparks just don't do it. neither the one above bello nor tutucan by san antonio in llano grande.
let's here some real nice get wet ideas around medallo

robi666 says on Oct 8, 2007, 20:26: Hummm... If Lisa is right, how can that be Rio Medellin (which is supposed to be start in Caldas)? "I am a citizen of the most beautiful nation on earth. A nation whose laws are harsh yet simple, a nation that never cheats, which is immense and without borders, where life is lived in the present." 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

dwmte7 says on Oct 9, 2007, 06:24: as i said, i've been way above caldas to amaga, primavera, et al and the water was still about as nasty as it could get. i don't know if rio medellin has it's origin in el penol but that may well be true. we went up to el penol a completely different way so i'd be lost identifying it's source. the river coming out of the lake didn't impress me as being 'clear blue waters'. dwmte 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
