I wonder if the fine folks who participate in the "Espanol" section are as harsh? One of the reasons I came back to Colombia was because there is alot more people willing to help you in a kind and gentle manner - much unlike the overall experience back in the good ole USA.

My language skills here in Colombia still languish. However, 99% of the fine Colombians here accept me with warm and open embrace. This is motivation for me to keep using and practicing my Spanish while in their country.

Acceptance is a virtue that should never be discounted........

Yeah right. I have traveled to Colombia and came back with more questions. I have also learned more about Colombia from PHB as well as other Colombian boards, after my trips. It's easier to understand what people are talking about once you've made the trip.

Why not add something about your trip upon your return? It's only fair, take a little, give a little.

If you don't like some of the post, why not take it upon yourself and post the tyep of threads you want to see, ignore those you want to ignore, after awhile they'll come around and accept you as part of the PBH family, warts and all.

Also agree, I had NO IDEA what trueblond was talkin' 'bout!

Lucas is a lawyer and he represents very well South America, he also knows a lot about Colombia he even tried to teach "Colombians" in c.blog about their own customs and culture.
Simon contributes lots of positive articles about Colombia otherwise not known by many here or over there. I am pretty sure if he is a moderator he will not kick anybody ass for not being anti religion.
Goin_South also will make an excellent moderator, he is an American who has visited many places in Colombia and he knows more about Colombian music than the average "Colombian"
