My wife is colombian - indeed, from periera and yes I am a british subject. You are right, I have'nt obtained a visa for permanent resident yet although I am very close to sorting things out to this end. I read sometime ago on this forum that it is slightly easier to get residence if you are british - is this true and how long do you think the process might take ?
