Sorry guys, I went to sleep early last night! about your question rocinante, I have not been in the USA, and probably never will, as the USA embassy denied me the tourist visa some years ago, when I wanted to go there on my vacation from work;they probably thought I was going to steal some jobs in Tacobell. As it was not my intention, I will never ask for a visa again. Althought I love americans, there are still plenty of countries to visit for vacation.
Can somebody here answer me what is a troll? :( Lacacique called me that way and I do not have a f..clue what is he talking about!

truly a shame that people are denied the chance to see the world. I think more so than the US visa in terms of visiting the US per say, the shame is that having a US visa facilitates access to other countries as well, without it things can be more complicated. I guess you can fly Bogota-Toronto and see this awesome country if you are able to get this visa, it used to be you had to stop over in the US and they prohibited non-visa carriers from doing this for a while. europe has also become very restricted to Colombians.
Sadly, very seldomly do I use my Colombian passport as the Canadian passport is truly a free-access to the world card. The blatant exception is Brasil but I get in there no problem with my mercosur card.

BUT getting a Canadian TR visa as a Colombian is apparently even HARDER than getting a US visa these days. I dunno why, it's not like too many Colombians like it that much in Canada anyways. Most of them that haven't gone back already are DYING to get out!
