Sprint charges .15 per international text and the receiver will not be charged..

I text from my Sprint phone to a Comcel User but if I text from www.comcel.com they are charged 320 Pesos...

No charge for incoming International...but outgoing is .15 with my Sprint plan and for outgoing calls .18 a minute for Colombia from my Cellular and will not use VOIP 800 plans...

They suck from a cellphone...

Go to tigo.com.co and in the lower right hand corner, click where it says ENVIA GRATIS TUS MENSAJES A TRAVES DE LA WEB, and you'll be able to send SMS messages and even chat with that particular person. Good luck!

You have international setup on your phone.. I have international dialing and text and also ont he Sprint international plan for 4.00 per month which gives you discounted rates from your phone..

You did that correctly my GF gets my text all the time 011-57-3xx-xxxx from Sprint phone but she has Comcel....and also her tio gets my text to his Tigo phone...

My wife and I send messages every day back and forth between Sprint and Tigo.

I send it from Sprint to Tigo using 011-57-300-XXX-XXXX.

Tigo phones have a "city code" of either 300 or 301 then the 7 digit phone number.

BTW, You don't need International Dialing to text message.

Even so, I have it because it comes in handy when the VOIP services start to flip out and not connect calls.
