Tennis in Medellin

My friend and I are both tennis players. On my upcoming trip to Medellin, we would like to find a nice place to play tennis close the Four Points Sheraton (my hotel) or in Poblado area, either public or private courts. I know that Hotel Inter. has courts you can rent by the hour. Does anyone have suggestions for other courts to check out? Thanks in advance.

The Stadium and Parque Juan Pablo II has some nice tennis courts. If you are looking for private courts or something a little closer to your hotel, try asking the Tennis Leaugue of Antioquia:

Best of luck!!!

i forgot, there's some public courts in envigado close to barrio, manga azul. i don't remember the address. you can call my sister--if you speak spanish--at her botique in envigado her name is doris, and tell her douglas told you to call and ask for directions to the tennis courts where our sobrina (neice) studies tennis in envigado. it's not club campestri and no body's gonna serve you drinks and there's no prepagos around, but if you really want to play tennis, it'll work fine. too, you just might meet some lovely, local lady, that'll turn out to be a long shot better than some leg you meet in a bar. who knows.
