Telmex is everywhere in Medellin these days and they are pushing their new cable and internet service. Telmex says they offer a good selection of channels in "Digital for LCD and Plasma TVs" but they don't offer the specific wording of "high definition".
I ask the Telmex people and they tell me it's a digital signal and yes is high definition but I can't get clarification of this being 720p, 1080i, etc.
Has anyone subscribed to Telmex? Can you tell me if their digital service is "just digital" or actually high defination (above 480).
Thanks so much..
Larry

pilotguy says on Aug 2, 2008, 10:34: there is no HD in colombia as far as I know. I have tried and tried all services and asked a million questions. I brought hd tv s here. I now have telmex. Love it , good signal, great service. Highly recommend, but no idea of when HD. Note: I was told by directtv 2 years ago, that Jan 1 2006 would have HD, but no they do not. hope this helps. joe
