Listening to some Vallenato-that sweet plaintive music of Elmodefoque's native land-I was reminded of how he once hinted that he would one day tell us the true story of how he ended up living in Nueva York.
What a journey it must have been!
With the start of the New Year wouldn't it be nice for us to hear the drama, the heartbreak, the strange food/weather/customs in El Norte and how they shaped that young kid into the unique funny guy we all treasure.

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Miguel says on Jan 1, 2006, 12:10: Sobre Modofoque I talked to him both Friday and yesterday; he really has developed that good old gringo trait of kicking back while at home, and only spouting sh~t here while on company time at work. Like the old gringo, he is like a pig in sh~t with his comandante doing her cachaca thing in Medellín. We are plotting our next invasion of Barranquilla in February, and if you muchachos want to join our version of AUC (AutorumberosUnidadesCorronchos), you are most welcome to fight for the cause. If you cannot participate, I am certain that Don Elmo, his nephew Corroncho Jhon and I will be able to take care of business. Felíz año nuevo mis llaves.
