Telephone Number To USCIS Natl Benefits Center?

Anyone have a number to a "real" person at the USCIS Center in Chicago or Missouri? I sent in my I-130, they cashed the check a month ago but I haven't heard a thing or received my NOA from them... the one toll free number I have is prompt crazy - and no real person ever answers. The number I have to Vermont is a person saying my I-129 is being processed but, nothing about the I-130 I sent to Missouri via Chicago!

I haven't seen my wife since November and am going crazy!

Thanks,
Crazi4Cali

So may be the K3s are not moving that fast. K1s seem to be moving fairly smoothly from a few that I have been in contact with lately. Sorry, I don't know any K3s - the one I knew took almost a year for name check (I think it was the name check) before she got to the US. Good Luck

The National Benefits Center in Missouri has slowed down a little lately but they are still doing pretty good. As of March 20, 2006 they are processing K-3 petitions dated January 30, 2006: https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/NBCprocesstimes.jsp?

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult.

But... How did you send in your I-129f without recieving the NOA1 from the I-130? That could be your problem... Not sure..

Also -- you can check the status online here,

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp

You will need to create an accout if not done so already, then you enter in the reciept numbers that are assigned to your NOA notices. You can tell the last time someone "touched" the application by looking at the update dates column.
