Teeth whitening Cartagena

Am visiting CTG in Dec - anyone had this done there? What process do they use and can anyone recommend a place (have got a couple of places off internet). Here in UK it costs about £300 and they use a process which does not damage the enamal. My pearlies are alright really but just thought well if it's cheap enough- why not?

Sonrisa offers whitening for less than 200K(about US$80). I know nothing about the process, but I have had work done there including a crown. I am happy with them. They have clinics all over Colombia including one on San Martin in Bocagrande.

Sonria http://www.sonria.com.co. In two years, I visited Sonria in Barranquilla, Cartagena and Medellin. My friends and parents do it as well when they come to Colombia. Much cheaper then in Italy. The mere difference between prices is enough to pay back the air ticket...

Dentists in Cartagena ??? Any suggestions for a good dentist in Cartagena??

Have been using one In Bocogrande but can not remember name right now. He is a professor at the dental school. Thought I might try someone else this trip at least for a checkup, cleaning and some minor work.

Miguel Yes, very cheap for a Brit abroad - £300 here! Sparkly gnashers - can't wait. Gonna choose the neon bright so I can see my way home on the beach in Cartagena at night.

I have been to Sonrisa..... and had whitening done by Katia, a young dentist that studied at University of Cartagena. She is very skilled and quite a pleasant individual to boot. It costs me around 220K, you have to buy a Sonrisa card for 20K that you present for future treatments. It is on the main drag there close to Laguito. The number of treatments will be determined by the dentist, I had three, no extra charge. One word of warning, be sure to have some aspirin (or Tylenol) handy at the end of the procedure. If you have had previous porcelain work done, it can make things rather painful, but it is well worth it IMHO. Best of luck, give my regards to the Sonrisa crew....Bob

Oh....to answer your question.... they use a gel which is excited by a blue laser.....not high tech, but it gets the job done....
