Teaching Spanish in Colombia

How is the market for this in Colombia? This probably fares better in big cities like Bogota since there's more of an influx of foreigners. Anyone's got an idea about this one?
Thanks!

good question
Good question, Angel Gabriel, It is probably a "nicho" marketing here.

Màs fe, màs abrazos, màs besos, màs disculpas, màs visitas a nuestros amigos antiguos nos haràn màs plenos cada vez.

Contact Colombo Americano, the biggest english teaching school in Colombia. There is one in most major cities. They are always looking for gringos to teach English.

If you are going to Cartagena, contact Juan Carlos Fontalvo in the San Pedro branch. He is a teacher there. Tell him I sent you. He will hook you up with the appropraite person

Enseñando Español There seems to be ample opportunity in countries like Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Peru for teaching Spanish as it attracts a large crowd of English-speaking people.

As for teaching English, does anyone has a preference on what school to go in the States? The Cambridge school in Denver colorado is well-know with their CELTA/RSA celta training...what about bridge linguatec TEFL training? http://www.bridgelinguatec.com/TeacherTrainingCourses/tefl.html

Thanks!

Spanish course in Colombia If you really want to learn Spanish take private lessons in Bucaramanga, this is cheaper than taking group classes in Bogotá or other cities. I am an English teacher at Centro Colombo Americano a renowned institution in Colombia. I offer you Spanish lessons during the time you desire; it could be one, two weeks or one or two months. I can help you getting accommodation within a family. Just contact me for further details: franklealt at yahoo.com.ar

Spanish conversation in Bogota Hello,
i'm a Colombian teacher. I'm currently teaching English to executives. And I could say that it is well paid. At the same time, I teach spanish to foreigners: I used to use real conversations for doing that. If you are interested, send me an e-mail jady_a at hotmail.com
