Hola! I am looking at teaching English in Bogota. I am Australian and I have just finished a TESOL course but don't have any other formal qualifications. Can someone out there tell me how successful i would be to land a job (based on not having any experience etc)? Will being a native speaker (and the TESOL DIploma), provide me with enough experience to get a job? Also can you tell me where the best places would be to find a job? Thanks for your help!
:)

mariacvetanoski says on May 24, 2008, 14:23: you may have to get papers to extend your visa if you want to teach for a while. petersons is good ,but that is if they give you enough hours. 10$ us dollars per hour is what they ususally pay, but it is hard to get a full solid 40 hours a week. you may look into teaching some private students as well.
