teaching at Colombian colleges

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know where I could get a list of Colombian universities and colleges? I am interested in teaching at one of them. I have an MBA, plus some degrees in economics, and someone told me (rightly or wrongly) that I may be able to find work teaching at a college or university.

In one year I will also be a certified high school math teacher, so another option is to teach at an international school. Does anyone here have an informed opinion of what my chances are, for these options?

Gracias, amigos.

Chris

Colleges These are some private and good colleges/universities in Colombia

Bogota:
- Universidad Javeriana
- Universidad del Rosario
- Universidad de Los Andes
- Universidad de la Sabana

Medellin:
- Universidad EAFIT
- Universidad de Medellin
- Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana
- Instituto CES
- Escuela de Ingenierias

But surprisingly the public universities are more open to foreign professors, I really don´t know why, so try also these:

- Universidad Nacional de Colombia (with branches all over the country)
- Universidad de Antioquia (Medellin)

how to contact? Thanks ColombiaBoard! I checked some of the sites for these schools, and they are all in Spanish! I would write them if I could find the right email address, but I can't really make heads or tails of the sites. (yes, I would learn Spanish down there if I went).

Unless you have a better idea, I guess I have to find a seniorita that I know to look this stuff up.

Some unis like Andes and Externado are quite tough if you havent got a PhD. Its weird how first year teachers have 1 or 2 from Stanford and Columbia. Good luck though, it probably is worth a try.
