You should double think this. The hands are the most noticeable part of the body. In a year from now, she won't even care about the tattoo and will be onto other things. Take a picture!

Very true! That's why I don't like tatoos. How many of those chicks from the US are going to be removing those long tatoos on their lower backs a few years from now. Looks OK in a bikini, but when she get 20 lbs overweight, not a pretty sight.

She won't care about it a year from now, but I will. If you are a parent, you'll understand, I didn't until I became one. I'm one of those dopes that gets sad everytime I see her growing up just a bit. Pictures get lost, etc. This will be something she did that I can look at when I'm 95 and breathing oxygen from a tank. When she has kids and starts getting reminiscent (like I am now) then she'll appreciate it. I probably won't do it on my hands, but some other easily seen body part. When I'm pissed, or acting in a non-daddy fashion with the bozos of the world, I can look at it and think what's important to me (jeeeez am I getting dopey)
