It is for lodging. At 75,000 per person I am very interested as to exactly what this charge is for and what it will be. On my receipts from other establisments it seems to be that the IVA is twn percent.

With three persons and 225,000 pesos if this is a daily charge needless to say I will be seeking alternative housing options.

It is an apartment in medellin and the tax has been ten percent in the past. I have been trying to call but the phones are messed up with the earthquake in peru. I will call tomorrow was just hoping for a quick answer here.

As it turns out it is just the room charges. It was way overpriced for the facility. I would not recommend Hotel Montes to anyone wishing to stay in the Laureles area. We check out the next day after finding a much better apartment for rent fully furnished and cheaper.
