taliban/al quida graduates

Hundreds of terrorists graduated yesterday from their terror training in afganistan. they are being split up in groups to attack different parts of the world. England, Germany, Canada and USA.
50 are headed to USA, they expect them to come in through south american countries such as Venezuela, Colombia and Mexico.
Whats different and a little scarey about this group is that several of them are not your typical looking middle easterner, some of these men have blond hair and red hair, so much for profiling.
The English group say they already have several targets picked out in England that are wide open for attack.
What I dont understand is how this group trained right under our troops noses and stood out there in the middle of the day graduating and none of our guys were there to blow them up. I can see we are really right on top of things over there?

Yet still 6 years after 9/11 Bush still hasn't closed our Southern Border nor has he pushed hard to erect the BorderFence Members of his own party like Jim Sensenbrener are pushing for. Forget Biometric National ID Cards or Chipped Smart Visas for Visitors!! Instead he wants to grant Amnesty to 12 Million Illegal Aliens, some of who may be Terrorists waiting to do us harm! Guess we are waiting for another Muhammed Atta Terrorist to slip through the Mexican/US open Border,,,

MM- thats right Bush has not secured the border with mexico and thats why his rating is down to 26% and thats why many of his own Republicans are not happy with his performance. However, the congress is also at blame for this and their rating is the lowest in the history of the United States, they are at a low low 14% approvel rating by the American people. I think its time for a complete house cleaning I would like to see the entire congress and present administration moved out and bring in all new patriotic americans to run Washingto DC.
vladimiro - you are missing the point, the point is that there are some people from beyond the middle east people from other countries posibly europe, USa and other locations that are recruited into Al Quida, these people can blend in with our society and cause big problems.

Scotty, you should put current events in perspective:

Arab Nationalism was the first threat to US interests as it was toppling the British installed kingdoms one after another (Egypt, Syria, Iraq...). Starting in the 1960s the US and Saudi Arabia began creating and heavily funding Salafi extremist movements, like Al-Qeada, to counter the growing influence of Arab Nationalism. The US and Saudi effectively contained the Arab Nationalist movements using the Salafi ideology. As I'm sure you know, the same tactic was used against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan.

The next threat to US interests was the Shiite Islamic revolution in Iran in 1979 which again was stopped from spreading to countries like Pakistan (with its 30 million shiites) by funding Salafi extremist movements. Salafis are viciously prejudiced against Shiites for historical reasons. By turning a major oil producer like Iraq into the first Shiite Arab country the US has created a Shiite revival in the region similar to the Iranian Revolution and it will be interesting to see how the US and Saudi respond to it. Most likely they'll use Salafi extremist movements once again because it was so effective in the past.
