Colsubsidio has excellent "country club" style locations in and near Bogota. Of course that includes large swimming pools. This is a "club" for workers, therefore affiliation is needed but if you know someone affiliated to Colsubsidio they can take you there or help you get in there.

The closest one in Bogota is:

CLUB COLINA
Avenida suba No 131-90

This one has 2 semi-olympic pools. It´s a huge area with football field, 6 tennis courts, gym and other amenities.

There is another of those clubs that my friend goes to but I think you need a membership. It is called Club Campestre and it is on the autopista, north end, would have to look for the exact address. There is also one further up north, near where I work at autopista and 222. If you don't find anything e-mail me and I will ask at work, there are a few people who use it so it must be cheap.....we are all missionaries!

What's the scoop on that giant Centro Acquatico in Bogota? I forget exactly where it is, but always see it on the way from northern Bogota to the airport.

2.5 hours south to Villavicencio, there are a dozen public pools outside of town. Basically, a small entrance fee, but they do expect you to buy a few drinks or a meal, etc. The entrance fee might be 5mil pesos. Cost for a buseta to Villavo is 20mil pesos. Average high temp in Bogota now, 70. Villavo, 85. Lows, 50(BOG) - 75(VCO).

Thanks wm. Complejo Acuático Simón Bolívar is the one about which I was speaking. That place has always interested me. If I ever decide to live in Bogota, that will have to be my spot. As a youngster, I was on the swim and diving teams. We had an outdoor olympic and indoor semi-olympic pools and a full diving and platform tank a short bike ride from home. I loved that place. Unfortunately, I am currently having a hard time finding a suitable pool complex where I now live.

Now that I remember there are couple of Gyms with pools as well, the Bodytech at AV 19 and 120 or - and another one at Centro Comercial Imperial in Suba, I am sure some had diving tower well if it translates trampolín.

Well. A "trampolin" is a diving board. These are typically 1 or 3 meters. There are also 5, 7 and 10 meter diving platforms which I think is what he is asking about. As far as I know, they are just called "plataformas"
.
