Hey,
I must admit I was shocked by the comments. I had no idea so many people read these articles. First, thanks for all the suggestions. I do have common since, life is life no matter where you live. Like I stated in my first article, I am from Phila. watching your back and who you trust is a natural instinct.
I live in Pamplona Norte de Santander. Its a very small town with a huge college population. I have been in Colombia for about a year and a half. In Pamplona since Jan. This week, the festivals are coming. They tell me its a really great time. Pamplona is about 40 minutes from Cucuta. Before living in Pamplona, we lived in Manizales. Manizales is a big city with lots and lots of hills. You do not need to exercise there, just walk around town, its all you need to do.
To date, things are excellent. I teach 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 9th Graders English. If all goes well, I will be teaching at the University next semester. Thanks again for all the comments, and if you have any questions about anything, please ask. People here welcomed me with open arms. Colombia is finally starting to realize how important English and Americans are to their future.
