surgery in colombia

hey can any one tell me how is plastic surgery in colombia??? I have an american friend that wants to go there and have surgery, I tell her that most women in colombia have silicone or some kind of lipo or breast implants so she should go and try it. I tell her that we have great surgeons and the prices are resonable.

A couple friends of my girlfriend has had something done. Lipo, breasts or something. I heard that one of them was in a clinic the same day that a lady (that was apparently very pretty, from what was said) that had surgery for a few hours to be a man. But hey, that's their buisness, not mine. Anyway, They ended up passing around some buisness cards from the doctor. He has fairly decent prices and explains things quite well. If you want the info let me know I can give you address and I believe I have phone number too (I'd have to check).

To Dwmte I am considering surgery (lipo and rhino) this summer. COuld you please if you don't care share your experience w/ me? I also have had surgery (BA) here in USA. But don't have nothing to compare it to Colombia since I haven't had a procedure done there yet!!!! You can PM if you want.

i've no clue about 'lipo' and 'rhino', etc... i had intestinal wall restoration and the surgery and clinic here in the u.s. is simply FAR superior with no insult or social judgement intented.

the procedure stateside was far more advanced in technique and execution than that in colombia. as for those procedures mentioned in this thread....breasts, lipo, rhino, etc... lord, what's that all about?

my procedures were designed to keep me alive. these others are designed, i believe, to somehow alter your life styles.

i wish ya'll good luck. oh, and yes, the work is a lot cheaper in colombia. a lot.

This is everything on the buisness card that I have. If you're familiar with the area, it's near the Carulla Supermarket on Calle 85 and 15. The doctor explains things pretty good and has pictures of previous clients that can be used as examples that can be used for your particular situation. After the surgery, you spend a certain amount of time in the clinic. For lipo, I think it's an over night stay, 24hrs or so, depending on how much is lost. I've heard of one friend of my girlfriend had it done and she had to get a Lot removed, and had a LOT of pain, so be prepaired for it. Also, expect to have some time afterwards of daily checkups of 2 or 3 weeks, or more, depending on the recommendation of the doctor. Let's see, what else... Oh yeah, you also get the doctors cell number for questions and emergencies. I can't think of anything else at this time, so ask me if there's anything else on your mind.
