houstongal says on Feb 14, 2008, 18:53: All the way out to Haleiwa? I don't think I've been out that way for a long time. I usually try to make it around the island at least once when I'm home.....at least so I can get some shave ice. All my favorite places in Honolulu are gone. :-(

Chriscan says on Feb 15, 2008, 03:58: Rio Buritaca, east of Santa Marta is a really neat little beach town and has the best surf I've seen. It changes a lot as the sand shifts I am told. You might even be able to find a crappy board to rent. If you go to there, check out the waterfalls at Valencia as well. ************* WARNING ************* my words often come from my ass |

bickerss says on Feb 15, 2008, 04:02: Yeah San Juan del Sur has great surf - especially that beach where you take the boat to (name escapes me). Also down in libertad in El Salvador I saw cracking surf wit no people out.

Peter Solano says on Feb 15, 2008, 15:17: Some surfing is possible from the MUELLE DE PUERTO COLOMBIA, about 15 minutes or so from Barranquilla, especially in this time of year when it is windy.
