Joe I stayed at Suite Real 85. It is about 30 minutes walking from Suite Real 97. I beleive the Suite Real 97 has wifi access, the Suite 85 does not. More resturants to choose from, they are closer and around the Parque 97. On the weekend, the park and resturants gets packed.

The rooms at Suite Real 85, have 70's furnature, but are nice. It was very quite (located a little off the zona rosa, more in residental area, but walking distance to clubs, resturants, stores, banks, ect.), was there in December, somewhat empty. The staff was nice and helpful. Had friends drop by for dinner and drinks with no problems. I would not have a problem staying here again. I may check other places, but ok.

One note, they seem to always have problems with there email system. Takes long time to reply to emails and sometimes they do not reply. I complained about this. I called ahead of time to confirm my reservation.

Good luck,

Ditto,
The area is really Ditto,

The area is really nice. With lots upscale resturants, stores, and shops. Lot's of security around. I felt really safe walking around. At night lots of lights with lots of people walking around at night. You should be ok.

I loved the Suites Real 85! Stayed there 3 days ago. True about comments above. Don't waste time Emailing them, and they "have wifi," but you can't get it. My computer said no available signal in 3 different places in the hotel. Another guy had an occasional signal. Anyway, it is a very nice hotel for a great price.

2nd I also used the free wifi at Suites Real 85 while I was there in November. Two separate weekends. Worked fine.

Great to have it in the room, as opposed to having to take turns on the community desktop in the lobby, or going out to one of the cybercafes.
