suggestions, travel from Bogota to San Antero, Córdoba

I want to travel from Bogota to San Antero, Córdoba. Where I am going is an hour's drive away from Los Garzones airport in the city of Montería, and a few hours' drive from Cartagena.

I checked the airlines and they want to charge $275 per person. I would like to spend less. (does anyone know all the airlines that fly from Bogota to Monteria?

What are the options concerning buses? How can I find schedules, costs, etc.

Lastly are there any other options besides buses, or planes? rent a car?

Not really except to walk. Try Aries,Avianca and Aerorepublica (None have fares that are very cheap)
Bus is the best option and you will likely go through Medellin. To Monteria would be about 17/18 hours. Here is site that lists all of the major bus lines with fares and schedules: http://www.viajaporcolombia.com/default.asp?link=tierra. The only line that come to mind is Expreso Brasilia. Right around $150.000 pesos. If you are in Bogotá I would go to the main bus terminal (El Terminal de Transporte) out towards the airport/US Embassy area near Av Boyaca. Probably be able to get a better price there. You will have to catch a local bus/transportation from Monteria to San Antero. If that will not work for you try going to Sincelego then localSan Antero
