Hola,
I had the opportunity to visit Medellin recently, and I liked it, so I am thinking of taking a sabbatical to learn Spanish (finally) there. If anyone has any information on learning Spanish in Medellin (including where not to go), please let me know (fyi, I must study at an accredited institution). If you had a great experience learning Spanish in another country, feel free to tell me about that too, as I can go anywhere.
Gracias.
Peter

MedellinViking says on Jan 19, 2006, 07:41: I have taken classes at EAFIT. I will be taking another class in March. A friend of mine, a 61 y/o gringo will be in Spanish 2 starting Feb23. We both love it. Gym, pool, nice cafeteria. Loads of companions as it has a fairly large curriculum. 2 hours a day for 4 weeks or 4 hours a day for 2 weeks intensive. We do the 2 hours a day. It's just to hard to concentrate after lunch! Especially when you make new friends almost evedry daay in the cafeteria! They (EAFIT) also help you with your student visa, Cedula , and then setting up a bank account etc. Live your fantasies because life is short and from all I've seen death is really, really long.... 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
