Student Visa

Does anybody know if an Irish Citizen can apply for a Colombian student visa in the US. I know I can get it in Bogota, but I already have a flight booked to the States for the 22nd July and need to get a few things up there, so I only want to make one trip? Cheers.

You should call ahead. Sometimes Consulates only accept applicants from residents of the country in which they are located. In Canada, a Canadian resident has to apply at the particular consulate that is designated for his area of Canada.
