so u have to present proof of funds to get a student visa for the UK, but how much do they say is needed? i know they dont say the exact amount, but how much (in your experience, for US or UK) does a student need to have in their account roughly?

getting better says on Apr 27, 2007, 15:03: Student Visas I dont know the exact amount but I have had at least 8 Colombian students staying with me in the last few years in London, and I think it is more important to show that you have enough money coming in to pay rent and transport and food and course costs than to have a set amount in the bank, i.e. do a budget.
