Student life in Medellin

Anyone studying, or know of people that have studied at EAFIT in medellin?

I would be extremely interested in hearing their opinions, and experiences at the university.

I am studying there for 12 months starting in the fall, so if anyone has any reasonable apartment rental suggestions for the 12 month period (I would pay all in advance) that would be great too. KamerenK at gmail.com

Just an advice about the apartment. Don't pay the entire amount in advance if you have any choice in the matter. Once they have your money they will be less motivated to fix any problems you may have with your place.

I though EAFIT was crap for spanish. I didnt study there but the fact they couldnt return emails or phone calls didnt leave me with much confidence in their ability to teach a course. People I know who did study there said it was so relaxed ie bad, that it was almost stupid. Conversly, though I have met one or two people who liked studying there.
