Stuck with pesos

I still have about 400k in Pesos. My local airport doesn't have an exchange. What should I do with them? No stupid answers please.

Keep them for your next trip. The exchange at the airport is a ripoff anyway.

I'll be in Colombia in two weeks, so I'd buy them from you, but it would probably be too big of a hassle for the both of us.

If you trust me, send them to me and I'll send back the usd at fair exchange rate at the post marked date. But don't wait 2 or 3 weeks.

If you're that desperate to get rid of them, exchange them at the airport. I did that and i got a good deal for it! That was in Barranquilla though!

Ilovecidy obviously isn't serious about trading cop for usd. I was willing to exchange at current market exchange rate - or even negotiate ... but no response, no PM. Whatever.

me too RJ, sent him a pm, no response. My deal is now off the table, not that we are talking about a big deal or anything, but we can only deal with people who actually exist, right?

admittedly, arriving can feel great too

You could go to your local Latin food place, convenience store where they do everything from sell phone cards to tranfer money. A lot of these are Colombian owned. You can tell them you have those pesos and at an exchange rate worth someones while to change and you will probably be able to change them there with someone who is returning to Colombia. Say 1500 to 1.
