Stop bitching

I was answering another site at the time but it got lost. However I do not think that my thoughts wil go wrong as a general subject. I was browsing and came across a pair of individuals with a particular axe to grind. it regards the general political thoughts of INDIVIDUALS, not the general populace. However for what it's worth.

Just another ‘Hombre'
If we all continue to live in the past. It will take another 5000 years at least to catch up with where we should have been 4999 years ago. That is, living in peace, socially and economically with each other.

We have the power to reason, that is the only thing that separates from the animals on this wonderful planet. It is surprising to say the least that we have survived at all. Am I being naive? Am I the only one on this planet that thinks that the ants have got it right?

Every battle or war ends where it should have started, sitting round a table. There are very few politicians names scribed in the battle honours wall of fame in any country, anywhere in the world. There are no crosses on the war graves of those who started the conflicts. In Colombia or anywhere else.

Who am I? No, I am not another of those hand wringing, cap doffing, bed wetting, ban anything that they do not understand, wishy washy, crap digesting liberalists. I have done more than my fair time in the armed forces (22 years) I have been a police officer (two years) (got bored shitless). Then 20 Years of trying to convince people to work safely. Now seven months before retirement at 65 I am intent on moving to the environs of Bogota.

WHY???? I am In love for the first time in my life in the true sense of the word.

Who are the types who peruse this site? I am willing to bet that there is not one Campesino or one Politician?

Who am I? Just a simple 65 year old man who has fallen in love with a 57 year old Colombiana.

In spite of the negativity of the authors of some of the comments made in the site I am undaunted. I have found on my one and only sojourn into the murky depths of Bogota, nothing but ‘good vibes'.

I love the ‘ordinary' people. Cannot stand the shit heads. Info on line follows: if you have nothing good to say! Bugger off.

If you don't like it in Colombia, also bugger off.
If your mentality goes beyond constructive criticism, bugger off.
If you are not ready to tolerate (excluding me and this) bugger off.
If you are extreme leftist bugger off.
If you are extreme rightist bugger off.
If you don't know why Che Guevara had his unfortunate forename, bugger off.
In other words if you are not willing to fit into what is universally accepted as the general meaning of socially acceptable behaviour PFUQUE OFF. (Scottish Gaelic) (it means ‘go away')

I am a really nice person. Trust me.

I will point out for those that don’t know Mr. IQ thought I was a “loser” for utilizing a signature that is provided by this forum for all to use. Mr. IQ than immediately after calling me a “loser” asks me how I created such a signature because Mr. IQ was not able to figure this out himself. Now Mr. IQ is waving his IQ banner for all to see and it’s just a white flag.

I have been in Colombia, in circumstances somewhat different from that which you are obviously running away from. I lived with my lady for six months, between times and loved that almost as much as I loved Colombia.

Contributed to Colombia? Well for a start I spell the name with the capital initial.

The Name? (Benefit of U.C.) Some persons of dubious integrity would love to know the real name and whereabouts. Look in the political section and you will see a different name, you will (or should) recognise the writing genre.

However I have no interest in you personally, I merely posted a comment, your comments prompted the response. As you appear to have been maligned (justifiably) in the past for your comments, I will not disappoint you.

I agree or disagree with everything that I read in the site, it depends on how it conflicts or otherwise, of my personal feelings.

You I think should be a politician. Sorry, that's the best I could say on the matter. You seem different to most of the other Americans that I have worked alongside. I liked them.
