Still fishing for zip lines...

Hi again, SandyBeach here. My last post did get me a location of a place with zip lines near Armenia at Panaca( Thanks again Billyb ), but I think there is another place near Montenegro that I want to find. I have read two references to one being there as a), "a half hour ride down the hillside back to Armenia" from it, and b) "just outside Montenegro at Finca de Caracoles". This particular one has 14 lines covering a couple of kilometres. Would Panaca qualify as being a half hour away from Amenia? Any information on this set of zip lines ( if they do exist here) would be most appreciated!! By the way, I found that there is another zip line at the Rio Claro park site. Muchas gracios amigos!

Sandy, try a search under "canopia" instead of 'zip", you might get additional results, I will try if I get the time to post any results I get.

I found this, it is supposed to be the biggest canopy in colombia. It's real close to Quimbaya and Montenegro.

Finca de caracoles is great. Not only do they have more zip lines, some of which are longer than Panaca's, its a neat little farm. One starts off on an ambling hour plus tour with one of the farmhands, and you eat fresh fruit off the trees, wander by this little stream with helliconias blooming everywhere. Panaca was fun, delightfully cheesy, but finca de caracoles is better.

Oh yes, Finca de caracoles is on a turnoff just before you arrive at Montenegro from Armenia. You can hike from the road to the finca in about an hour.
