Staying in Bogota for a week Jul 24-Aug.1

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site, but I liked what I found so wanted to ask if anyone knows of a furnish apt I can rent for the last week of July and possibly for the first 2 days of Aug. Thank you

Any particular area? Bogotá is a big City, so depending on what are you planning to do, you can narrow your search (work, tourism, partying). Also you have to keep in mind your budget. Some neighborhoods at the north can be as much expensive as a good hotel near the airport.

thank you gringoinbogota. one more question if you don't mind. would the salitre area be a good and relatively safe place for a runner/power walker? would someone stick out like a sore thumb to be seen power walking in this area?

About 75% of Bogotá, if not more, it is relatively safe for joggin or the alike.

Amigos de Colombia

Sunday, July 29th is the day for runners to participate in the half marathon of Bogotá. There is a 10K as well. About 45 thousand participants are expected.

Chica,

I stayed in this place for a week this past June and it is nice. The place is owned by a Swedish Banker.

The furnishings are modern and comfortable as the pictures in the link will show you. Location of the apartment is in a safe neighborhood (Chapinero financial district) with onsite security. It also has a excellent high speed wireless connection and maid service is provided daily. I hope this helps?

Chica,

Here is another nice place you might try. This one isn't cheap but it is better than staying at any of the 5 star hotel suites in Bogota.
